Figs with goat's cheese25 November 2018
This assemblage is a delicious autumnal dessert. The goat’s cheese should be very soft and spreadable: the one pictured is a little crumblier than ideal.
- For two servings:
4–8 ripe figs
75 g soft goat’s cheese
- Chop the figs into quarters or eights, depending on their size. Toss with about two teaspoons of good honey and leave to sit for a few minutes.
- Meanwhile, spread the goat’s cheese across the bottoms of two small plates.
- Spoon the figs and their juices over the goat’s cheese.
